Hotel at Warwick Road goes back to appeal

For the second time in as many years, Acre Manchester is bidding to overturn the refusal of its plans to build a Novotel on Chester Road.

Trafford Council rejected the developer’s plans for a 169-bedroom hotel in March this year, having already successfully defended its decision to refuse a larger iteration of the project at appeal in 2021.

It will be a nightmare for residents to get in and out as the area they will you to gain access to the carpark is at the end of Hornby Road and almost the end of warwick rd.
It will stop all privacy in peoples gardens due to garden area being on top of building facing the houses on that road.
It is a nightmare on Hornby and Barlow Road for residents when cricket football and manchester runs take place.
Traffic wardens do not frequent these rds when sny of these events are on and cars park on them stopping people who live there no entrance or exit to there drives … but when there are nothing on at cricket ground uniteds ground etc they attend and give residents tickets for parking outside there own homes. This will just get worse with this hotel x

Thanks Lee, I hope the planning inspector who decides the appeal takes your views into account.

Your comments are relevant and good and I want you to email them to the planning inspector. They’re receiving comments from ‘interested parties’ until 20th September.

The appeal reference is APP/Q4245/W/22/3299133. I’m providing a link –

      https://acp.planninginspectorate.gov.uk/ViewCase.aspx?Caseid=3299133&CoID=0

Don’t know if that will work without you registering first – It’s not too bad a registration just name address and email.

I love hearing your views
